Never mind that I am so fucking old that I used to babysit for Simon. His blog is awesome, even though I don't really get all the references.

Where do you get all this from? Love that brain of yours. I, too, have given up protests although I am thinking of going to the LA Rally for Jon Stewart. Since I can't go to DC I can do my part. The last rally I attended for protest was in 21 years ago and it was for the right to choose (abortion) rally held at my local big park. My best girlfriend (who has since died of cancer) and her 6 week old daughter all walked to the rally and we told this baby that her future for choices demanded that we bring her along with us. She is now 21+ and I still remember it. Other than that I went to a rally to welcome Howard Stern to Los Angeles Radio. I was introduced to him by a MD who was in a fellowship program I managed. He wore a fake butt and I was one of the few women attending. Fast forward to my lawn sign for Obama and that's it. Doesn't quite compare to the time I helped shut USC down for a Vietnam Protest. Boy were they shocked at this industrial complex college that supported the war (Alumni) and a group of us took over the radio station. Big deal in those days. Followed by my pledge to ZPG (zero population growth and 2 children rule for married people) in San Francisco for the first Earth Day in the 60's. Thanks for your blog which was a walk down memory lane for me.

Your blog kills me every time. It's like my acid-drenched unfiltered id's evil cousin got a dictaphone for Hannukkah, took a Ritalin and went to town. That's a compliment, in case you can't tell.

One mend-fault is worth two find-faults,but one find-fault is better than two make-faults.
