Never mind that I am so fucking old that I used to babysit for Simon. His blog is awesome, even though I don't really get all the references.

that is some funny shit! Not the Melanoma of course but just you being the funny crazy person that you are!! I just love the crazies!!!

Way to go Ann. Love it!!! Did you get the little pad and pen thingy?

Funny blog about a serious subject. Skin cancer is real and I hope you normally put on sun block. I want you around for a long time so I can read your stories.

You simply need to add beach type umbrella, good drink and great novel to read. Then you will have the zen in the art of sunbathing accomplished! Oh and a great big sunhat... I see you already have the shades...your article made me laugh on an otherwise stressful morning. Thank you!

The point is: the older and tireder one gets (and when I say one, I mean ME) the less still one can sit. It's not fair. Finally, there's an excuse for sitting without moving and thinking deep thoughts, but instead, it's all "oh my foot itches" "oh I feel my right shoulder stretching" and "I'm aware of my tongue" and it is NOT conducive to rest.

Extremely funny as usual..I love anything that addresses back fact I'm pretty sure you could devote an entire blog to that.

I think you just need a sun-buddy. I remember you on the porch at the Main Street house in Soquel, sunbathing for hours, but you always had numerous attendants, acolytes, and admirers to amuse you. Time and technology have whittled away our ability to just do nothing all alone -- we don't have the attention span for it anymore.
