Never mind that I am so fucking old that I used to babysit for Simon. His blog is awesome, even though I don't really get all the references.

I LOVE YOU ANN. This is hilarious.

Oh yes, I often tell my kids that real friends tell each other when they have something in their teeth.

And the best part about blogging? When something like this happens to you, instead of being mortified, you instead think: This will make for a great blog post!

I always tell people when something is obviously accidentally amiss, and often the response is not thank you but why did you do that to me. But I laughed so hard at this blog that water came out my nose.

I once walked around Toulouse, France (when I was 20 years old) for an ENTIRE day (like, 8 hours) with a maxipad on the back of my (black) jacket. And guess what? Three people DID try to tell me, but I DIDN'T SPEAK FRENCH, so I was S.O.L. until someone bilingual happened along (although couldn't the french-speakers just pointed? Or, even better, RIPPED IT OFF?). It was SO mortifying and SO incredibly funny, all at the same time. And yes, the maxipad had WINGS. :-)

I happened upon your blog through Jillian Lauren's recommendation and you are hilarious! I've been laughing out loud at work and will soon be passing your blog around.

Thanks for making me smile.

One of my children stuck a "free" sticker on my shoulder once, and I left it there and forgot about it. A very concerned female patron at the Burlingame Fred Meyer pointed it out to me, expecting me to remove it in shame. WTF? I'm supposed to be emabarassed about "free"? On my shoulder?
